Jewelery maker has
24 jade beads
30 teak Beads
So we need to find the highest common factor for both 24 and 30
The factors for both numbers are
24 -1,2,3,4,6,8,12,24
30 - 1,2,3,5,6,10,15,30
The highest common factor for both is 6
The greatest number of necklaces she can make is 6
Number of jade beads - 24/6 = 4 jade beads
Number of teak beads - 30/6 = 5 teak beads
So each necklace will have 4 jade beads and 5 teak beads

Find h(x) +g(x). h(x)=x^2+6x and g(x)=-2x-3
AURORKA [14]

Answer:

h(x) + g(x) = x^{2} + 4x - 3

Step-by-step explanation:

h(x) + g(x) = (x^{2} + 6x) + (-2x - 3)

x^{2} + 4x - 3

Using f(x) = 4x + 6 with the domain of {-1,0,2}, find the range
konstantin123 [22]
The range is the output of the function, and there are many ways to find it and write it. Let's find it first by plugging in all the domain values (domain means input) into the function:
f(-1) = 4(-1)+6=-4+6=2
f(0) = 4(0)+6=0+6=6
f(2) = 4(2)+6 = 8+6=14

We have all of our values. We can either write the range as:
{2, 6, 14}

or, subtract the smallest value from the largest one:
14-2=12

So, there are those ways to write it, there are more, but I think you should stick with the first way because that's how the problem was presented to you. If you have any questions, hmu!

The cost of a length of fabric is proportional to the number of yards purchased. The graph shows this relationship.
posledela
Unit rate means how much does it cost for 1 item for example...if you can download 2 songs for $5 how much did it cost to download 1 song...you would simply take $5 divided by 2 to get $2.50

In this case we have 5 yards of fabric for $18 so all we have to do is take $18 divided by 5 to find out how much just 1 yard costs.

so $18 divided by 5 is $3.60  so the unit rate cost per yard is $3.60

to make sure this is correct you can check your answer like this.  If it is $3.60 for 1 yard how much would it be for 5 yards?  Multiply $3.60 and 5 if we get $18 then our answer is correct.  $3.60 x 5 does equal $18 so we were correct
