Solve. 2 (x - 1/2) = 3 (5 - 2x) show the steps in your solution.
viktelen [127]

Question 1.). Solve:

2 (x - 1 / 2) = 3 (5 - 2x)

Simplify both sides of equation:

2( x - 1 / 2 ) = 3(5 - 2x )

(2) (x) + (2) ( -1 / 2 ) = (3) (5) + (3) ( -2x )

Distribute:

2x + - 1 = 15 + -6x

2x - 1 = -6x + 15

Add 6x to both sides:

2x - 1 + 6x = -6x + 15 + 6x

8x - 1 = 15

Add 1 to both sides:

8x - 1 + 1 = 15 + 1

8x = 16

Divide both sides by 8:

8x / 8 = 16 / 8

Answer: 2 (x - 1 / 2) = 3 (5 - 2x) ==========> x = 2

f = (f1 f2) / (f1 + f2)

f(f1 + f2) =  f1 f2

f f 1 + f  f 2 = f1 f 2

f1 f2 - f f2 = f f1

f2 (f1 - f)  = f f1

f2 = (f f1) / (f1 - f) <==== solution

If BE−→− bisects ∠ABD and m∠ABD = 66°, find m∠ABE
Monica [59]

Answer:

m∠ABD = 132 °

Step-by-step explanation:

m∠ABE = m∠DBE

and

m∠ABD = m∠ABE + m∠DBE

Because m∠ABE = 66°, therefore m∠DBE = 66°, so that

m∠ABD = 66° + 66° = 132°

A car is traveling at a speed of 55 miles per hour.you want to write an algebraic expression to show how far the car will travel
goblinko [34]
Speed=Distance/Time
So Distance=Speed X Time
Distance=55T
Where 55 is the Car's speed and it is constant(won't change) and T is the time which is the changing variable.
you can plug time values to know the distance traveled!
