After World War II the manufacturing jobs helped build out the U.S. middle class, they not only created good paying jobs but also helped provide the people without college education a better life.

Unfortunately the trade between Canada and the United States has a strong role on the decline of manufacturing the jobs, therefore the manufacturing sector has been struggling with its preservation.
