F(x) = -3x + 4
g(x) = 2

To get f(x) = g(x)
-3x + 4 = 2
-3x = 2-4
-3x = -2
x = (-2/-3)
x = 2/3

Which expression is equivalent to (x+2)(3x-3)?
trapecia [35]

Answer:D

Step-by-step explanation:Multiply x and 3x to get 3x^2 which is the first part, then multiply x and -3 to get -3x then and that to 2 times 3x which get you 3x bc -3x + 6x is 3x, and for the last part, multiply 2 and -3 to get -6 so your answer will be 3x^2+3x-6

Write the equation of a line that passes through (-4,15) and (-7,10) in point slope form
Ivanshal [37]
(-4,15),(-7,10)
slope = (10 - 15) / (-7 - (-4) = -5 / (-7 + 4) = -5 / -3 = 5/3

there can be 2 answers to this...depending on the point u use...
y - y1 = m(x - x1)
slope(m) = 5/3
using point (-4,15)...x1 = -4 and y1 = 15
now we sub
y - 15 = 5/3(x - (-4)..not done yet
y - 15 = 5/3(x + 4) <=== this is one answer

y - y1 = m(x - x1)
slope(m) = 5/3
using point (-7,10)....x1 = -7 and y1 = 10
now we sub
y - 10 = 5/3(x - (-7)...not done yet
y - 10 = 5/3(x + 7) <=== and here is the other answer
