Answer:

Option (d)

The angular momentum of the system is 5 Kg-m²/s

Explanation:

Angular momentum: Angular momentum is the product of angular velocity and of moment of inertia.

Angular momentum is dented by L

And the unit of angular momentum is Kg-m²/s

L= I×ω

I is momentum of inertia

ω is angular velocity.

The unit of angular velocity  is red/s.

Momentum of inertia : Momentum of inertia is the sum  square the perpendicular distance from the rotational axis to of product mass of each particle of the body.

I=\sum Mr^2

The S.I unit of momentum of inertia is kg-m²

The angular momentum of a system is:

L= ∑I ω

  =∑ Mr²ω      [ Since I=\sum Mr^2]

Given , M= 1 kg,  r₁=1 m , r₂= 2 m and   ω = 1 rad/s.

The angular momentum of the system is

L= Mr₁²ω+Mr₂²ω

  = Mω(r₁²+r₂²)

 = {1×1 (1²+2²)}

=5 Kg-m²/s

The brakes of a 125 kg sled are applied while it is moving at 8.1 m/s, which exerts a force of 261 N to slow the sled down. How
sammy [17]

Answer:

15.7 m

Explanation:

m = mass of the sled = 125 kg

v₀ = initial speed of the sled = 8.1 m/s

v = final speed of sled = 0 m/s

F = force applied by the brakes in opposite direction of motion = 261

d = stopping distance for the sled

Using work-change in kinetic energy theorem

- F d = (0.5) m (v² - v₀²)

- (261) d = (0.5) (125) (0² - 8.1²)

d = 15.7 m

2 ways to change frictional force between 2 objects
Zanzabum
In order to change the frictional force between two solid surfaces, it can be changed by shorter distances and by the amount of weight it has or the amount of force that is pushing that object to go however distance it can.

An object is moving across a surface, but it is not gain or lose speed. Which best describes the objects force?
raketka [301]

Answer:

Gravity. An object is moving across a surface, but it does not gain or lose speed.

Explanation:

The basic idea. Physicists see gravity as one of the four fundamental forces that govern the universe, alongside electromagnetism and the strong and weak nuclear forces.

Hope it helps! Brainliest?
