Answer= 40%

40% of call are for air conditioners
1/5 of calls are for heaters

First, lets convert 1/5 into a decimal, and then a percent value.

1/5=0.20=20%

20% of calls are for heaters

100% represents the amount of service calls Mike receives.

100%-40%-20%=
100%-60%=40%

40% of the service calls Mike receives are other calls.

Scorpion4ik [409]
A) If you cut off half the peaks (3.5 ft down from the top), they will just fill the valleys making a rectangle 18.5 ft by 30 ft. The area is the product of these dimensions.
  A = (18.5 ft)*(30 ft) = 555 ft²

b) To determine the number of quarts of paint required, divide this number by 90 ft². Since you cannot buy a partial quart, if there is any remainder, use the next higher integer number of quarts.
  555/90 ≈ 6.2 so Pat should buy 7 quarts of paint.

Write the polynomial in factored form.
Furkat [3]

Answer:

  4x(x -4)(x +6)

Step-by-step explanation:

The factoring of 4x³ +8x² -96x will be such that the leading coefficient is 4 and the product of all constants is -96. Only one answer choice matches:

  4x(x -4)(x +6)
