Answer:

given.. mass of copper 2kg

 • initial temperature is copper(I)=100°c
 • volume of water(5l)=5kg of water
 • initial water temperature =20°c
 • what's the final temperature(f)??

from the concept

heat lost from an object=heat gained by the other object

Heat=McΔT

Mč x Cč x ΔTč = Mw x Cw x ΔTw

2kg x 385J/kg°C x (100°c - {F}) = 5kg x 4200J/kg°C x ({f} - 20°C)

77000 - 770F = 21000F - 420,000

21770F =497000

....divide both sides....

F=22.83°C

therefore the final temperature of the water was 22.83°C

Suppose a door is 1 meter wide. Calculate the difference in the amount torque exerted on the door when someone pushes with a con
Yanka [14]

Answer:

Δτ = 50 N.m

Explanation:

The torque applied on an object is given by the product of the force applied on it and the perpendicular distance between the force and the axis of rotation of the object. That is:

τ = F r

where,

τ = Torque applied on the object

F = Force applied on it

r = distance from axis of rotation

FOR HANDLE SIDE OF DOOR:

τ₁ = F r₁

where,

τ₁ = Torque applied on the object = ?

F = Force applied on it = 100 N

r₁ = distance from axis of rotation = 1 m

Therefore,

τ₁ = (100 N)(1 m)

τ₁ = 100 N.m

FOR MIDDLE OF DOOR:

τ₂ = F r₂

where,

τ₂ = Torque applied on the object = ?

F = Force applied on it = 100 N

r₂ = distance from axis of rotation = 1 m/2 = 0.5 m

Therefore,

τ₂ = (100 N)(0.5 m)

τ₂ = 50 N.m

Now, the difference between the amount of torque in both cases is:

Δτ = τ₁ - τ₂

Δτ = 100 N.m - 50 N.m

Δτ = 50 N.m

A constant current is sent through a helical coil. the coil
marissa [1.9K]

Answer:

A. Tends to get shorter.

Explanation:

When a constant current is sent through a helical coil, then currents are different turns will be equal as well as in the same direction. As currents in same direction attract each other, hence coil tends to get shorter.

For the following types radio waves infared radiation visible light ultraviolet radiation gamma radiation of electromagnetic rad
ddd [48]

Answer: Option 5.

Decreases increases increases.

Explanation:

Electromagnetic spectrum refers to differences in frequencies, wavelengths and photon energies of electromagnetic radiation.

From the top of the list to the bottom i.e from radio waves, infrared waves, visible lights, ultraviolet radiation, gamma radiation, wavelengths decreases, the frequency increases as the photon energy increases.

The electromagnetic radiations : radio waves, microwaves, infrared, visible light, ultraviolet, X-rays, and gamma rays have high-frequency and short wavelengths. Their wavelengths decrease. The photon energy is directly proportional to wave frequency.

aleksklad [387]

Answer:

Approximately 22.9 seconds.

Explanation:

A sound wave travel 340m in 1 sec

For 7800m it will travel;

\frac{7800}{340} * 1 = 22.94117647 sec

It will take approximately 22.9 seconds.
