a) Sociology is the study of people where as Social Psychology is the study of people in a group/social context

Sociology will focus on the structures that are part of society, and they will target them as part of bigger frameworks. For example institutions like Marriage will be given their part, along other higher institutions like economics and politics.

b) Social Psychology bridges the gap between sociology and psychology

Social psychology applies the findings of psychology when it concerns the actions and how they are influenced in the presence of others: If an action occurs as a result of others or together with a group, then this practice will be studied.

Classical examples involve how people perform or react when they are being part of a group. How is this performance a result or changes according to the social setting wil be the focus.

c) When noticing something that by be news, the journanilst will account for an event trying to publish and inform in the light of his opinion. Often the way he describes the news, will reveal the affiliation or the stand he has in a subject. There will be more room for being subjective or bias.

according to their social context. They are similar but differ on the point were sociology studies more cultural and group interactions. Psychology focuses on individuals.

c. Social psychology differs from a journalist that examines social behavior of varios individuals because: a journalist wont theorize about it or draw experiments. A journalist function is to inform what he sees.
