It would be C and D.

A is not an answer since many people drink many different types of alcohol and it doesn't mean that they are alcoholic. They are just trying new things.

B is not an answer since quitting is not a sign of alcoholism because the problem has already been addressed.

C and D are answers since alcoholism takes over someone's life so much to the point where they drink a lot. Usually it is alone since some are very embarrassed and don't want to show everyone else how much they consume due to self-consciousness so they don't go to other activities.

A compound in food that can be converted into an active vitamin inside the body is known as a(n):
vodomira [7]

Answer:

D. provitamin.

Explanation:

A provitamin is a substance that the body can transform into an active vitamin through metabolic processes. If compared with vitamins, provitamins have no biological activity or are much lower. In other words, provitamins are vitamin precursors.

Although not very frequent, sometimes you can see the term previtamin used as a synonym.

For example, beta-carotene, the most abundant carotenoid in nature, has about one sixth of the biological activity of retinol, or vitamin A, but can be transformed into retinol in the liver by an enzymatic reaction.
