Standardization depends only on the neutral point (this is the point is which the gram equivalent are equal)

The added water <u>did not influence neither the quantity of the acid nor the titrating agent. </u>

This water was merely a solvent and the titration process is independent on this dilution that happened because of the addition of water.

Adding water will cause the equilibrium to shift in order to maintain the balance (equilibrium) again, therefore, the KHP will still remain constant
