ionic bond:

Bond formed when an atom donates its electron and other atom receives those electrons.

polar covalent:

Bond formed by equal sharing of electrons between both the atoms and there is an electronegativity difference between the two atoms.

Nonpolar covalent:

Bond formed by equal sharing of electrons between both the atoms and there is no electronegativity difference between the two atoms.

Metallic:

Formed between two metals.

So the bond between :

Phosphorus and chlorine-polar covalent bond as it is formed by equal sharing of electrons between both the atoms and there is an electronegativity difference between the two atoms.

Potassium and oxygen -ionic bond as here potassium donates its electron and oxygen receives those electrons

Fluorine and fluorine -Non polar covalent bond as formed by equal sharing of electrons between both the atoms and there is no electronegativity difference between the two atoms.

Copper and aluminum-metallic bond as Formed between two metals.

Carbon and fluorine -polar covalent bond as it is formed by equal sharing of electrons between both the atoms and there is an electronegativity difference between the two atoms.

Carbon and hydrogen --Non polar covalent bond as formed by equal sharing of electrons between both the atoms and there is no electronegativity difference between the two atoms.

Aluminum and oxygen--ionic bond as here aluminum donates its electron and oxygen receives those electrons

Silver and copper --metallic bond as Formed between two metals.

6. If the pressure of a gas is 1.01 atm and the temperature is 25°C, then if the pressure is increased to 1.10, what is the new
gayaneshka [121]

Answer:

324.554 K

Explanation:

Which can be converted back to °C by subtracting 273

Once again thus answer can be found using the gas law P1/T1 =P2/T2

Remember to convert to Kelvin before doing the calculations by adding 273

Why does water appear blue?
ICE Princess25 [194]
B.
Because if you were to be in a room with orange lights the water would appear orange and glowing. Same thing with other colors this is because the sun rays pass through the atmosphere reflecting from a pure white light to a lighter blue and reflecting off of the waters surface.

To determine the freezing point depression of a LiCl solution, Toni adds 0.411 g of LiCl to the sample test tube along with 19.7
Cerrena [4.2K]

Answer:

LiCl = 0.492 m

Explanation:

Molal concentration is the one that indicates the moles of solute that are contained in 1kg of solvent.

Our solute is lithium chloride, LiCl.

Our solvent is distilled water.

We do not have the mass of water, but we know the volume, so we should apply density to determine mass.

Density = mass / volume

Density . volume = mass

1 g/mL . 19.7 mL = 19.7 g

We convert g to kg → 19.7 g . 1 kg / 1000g = 0.0197 kg

Let's determine the moles of LiCl

0.411 g . 1 mol / 42.394 g = 9.69×10⁻³ moles

Molal concentration (m) = 9.69×10⁻³ mol / 0.0197 kg → 0.492 m
