The larynx is just the tube at the top of the respiratory tract, so it cannot close itself. The trachea is the cartilaginous portion of respiratory tract below the larynx so it cannot close the top of the larynx. The esophagus is what the larynx separates from and connects the buccal cavity (mouth) to the stomach, so it cannot close the larynx. The epiglottis is a cartilaginous plate at the top of the larynx that closes the larynx when you swallow so fluids and food stuff does not go into the lungs and opens to breathe after the end of the swallow. The answer would be the epiglottis.

Setler79 [48]

Answer:

PLEASE HELP! I have to get a cavity filled today for the first time!
bulgar [2K]

Answer:

Its not that bad.

Explanation:

I have had like 6 cavities filled, and its pretty straight forward. They start by putting numbing jelly (idk the real name), and then they drill off the rotten part of your tooth, then they fill it up with cement.

You won't really feel pain, but the numbness of your jaw will make you drool.

this is all my personal experience, but all patients and dentists are different. hope this helps!!
