Answer:

True

Explanation:

A prism is a triangular shape object made of glass which has three flat surfaces that allows light to pass through it.

When light falls on one of the surface, The process of dispersion occurs.

As we know light is made up of seven colors, The light splits ( disperse) itself into these colors when is passes through the prism.

The red color has the maximum wavelength hence it bend less than the other colors. Hence a pattern of different colors is formed which is termed as Rainbow.

As different color has different wavelength, there bending degree is also different makes a pattern of seven colors at the end.

Some pipe organs create sounds lower than humans can hear. This ""infrasound"" can still create physical sensations. What is the
Dominik [7]

Answer: 17.59 Hz and 4.87 m

Explanation:

The fundamental frequency of the sound from an open-open pipe is given as

f= \frac{v}{2L}

where v= 343 m/s

L= 32 feet= \frac{32}{3.281} = 9.75 m

So,

f= \frac{343}{2*9.75} = 17.59 Hz

The length of open-closed tube is related to frequency by formula

f= \frac{v}{4L}

or L=\frac{v}{4f}

L= \frac{343}{4*17.59}

L= 4.87 m

If Dan is starting his plant, he will want to see if his new workers are performing the way he wants them to perform in order to meet the requirements for the amount of product he would like to produce on a weekly basis. This can be only done if he will pay special attention to different performance measures.

Calculate the force, when a object acelerattes to 30 m/s^2 and have a mass of 40 kg
faust18 [17]

Hello!

Use the <u>second law of Newton:</u>

F = ma

Replacing:

F = 40 kg * 30 m/s^2

Resolving:

F = 1200 N

The force is <u>1200 Newtons.</u>

The index of refraction for red light in water is 1.331 and that for blue light is 1.340. If a ray of white light enters the wat
kobusy [5.1K]

Answer:

Angle of refraction for red light is 43.01^{\circ}

Angle of refraction for blue light is  42.68^{\circ}

Explanation:

It is given refractive index for red light is \mu _{red}=1.331

Refractive index of blue light \mu _{blue}=1.340

Angle of incidence i=65.30^{\circ}

According to law of refraction \mu =\frac{sini}{sinr}

For red light 1.331 =\frac{sin65.30^{\circ}}{sinr}

1.331 =\frac{0.908}{sinr}

sinr=0.682

r=43.01^{\circ}

Therefore angle of refraction for red light is 43.01^{\circ}

Similarly for blue light 1.340 =\frac{sin65.30^{\circ}}{sinr}

1.340 =\frac{0.908}{sinr}

sinr=0.677

r = 42.68^{\circ}

Therefore angle of refraction for blue light is  42.68^{\circ}
