Given :

Molarity of Na_3PO_4 , M = 0.213 M .

To Find :

How many ml of 0.213 M of Na_3PO_4 are required to deliver 66.4 mmol Na^+.

Solution :

Volume required  :

V=[\text{ 66.4 mmol of }Na^+] + [\dfrac{\text{1 mm of }Na_3PO_4}{\text{3 mmol of }Na^+}]+[\dfrac{\text{1 ml }Na_3PO_4}{\text{0.213 mmol of }Na_3PO_4}]

So ,

V=\dfrac{66.4}{3\times 0.213}\ ml\\\\V=103.91\ ml

Therefore , volume of Na_3PO_4 required is 103.91 ml .

Hence , this is the required solution .

Consider the calculation of the pressure in kilopascals exerted by 1.25 g of nitrogen gas in a flask of volume 250 mL (0.250 dm3
Harrizon [31]

The amount of the nitrogen gas, N₂ molecules present is 2.68×10²² molecules

<h3>Avogadro's hypothesis </h3>

1 mole of N₂ = 6.02×10²³ molecules

<h3>How to determine the mole of N₂</h3>

We'll begin by calculating the number of mole of N₂. This can be obtained as follow:

  • Mass of N₂ = 1.25 g
  • Molar mass of N₂ = 28.02 g/mol
  • Mole of N₂ =?

Mole = mass / molar mass

Mole of N₂ = 1.25 / 28.02

Mole of N₂ = 0.0446 mole

<h3>How to determine the molecules of N₂ present</h3>

From Avogadro's hypothesis,

1 mole of N₂ = 6.02×10²³ molecules

Therefore,

0.0446 mole N₂ = 0.0446 × 6.02×10²³

0.0446 mole N₂ = 2.68×10²² molecules

Thus, the molecules of N₂ present is 2.68×10²² molecules

Which is the strongest base?
DochEvi [55]

Answer:

The answer to your question is: [H+] = 10⁻¹²

Explanation:

Remember that pH = -log [H+], then, in this exercise we need to calculate the pH of the substances and compare the results, the one which the higher value will be the strongest base.

a) [H+] = 10^-9      pH = -log[10⁻⁹] = 8

b) [H+] = 10^-11     pH = -log[10⁻¹¹] = 10

c) [H+] = 10^-10     pH = -log[10⁻¹⁰] = 9

d) [H+] = 10^-12    pH = -log[10⁻¹²] = 11      This is the strongest base
