Answer:

The number of moles of xenon are 1.69 mol.

Explanation:

Given data:

Number of moles of xenon = ?

Volume of gas = 37.8 L

Temperature = 273 K

Pressure = 1 atm

Solution:

The given problem will be solve by using general gas equation,

PV = nRT

P= Pressure

V = volume

n = number of moles

R = general gas constant = 0.0821 atm.L/ mol.K

T = temperature in kelvin

Now we will put the values in formula.

1 atm × 37.8 L = n × 0.0821 atm.L/ mol.K ×273 K

37.8 atm.L = n × 22.413 atm.L/ mol.

n = 37.8 atm.L / 22.413 atm.L/ mol.

n = 1.69 mol

The number of moles of xenon are 1.69.

Natalka [10]

Answer:

The evolutionary process at work is best described by option B. gene flow

Explanation:

Gene flow also known as migration is any movement of individuals, and/or the genetic material they carry, from one population to another. If gene versions are carried to a population where those gene versions previously did not exist, gene flow can be a very important source of genetic variation. In this case, the nearby population migrates to the mole population. The diagram is a good description of the Gene flow process.

When an atom makes a transition from a higher energy level to a lower one, a photon is released. What is the wavelength of the p
kykrilka [37]

Answer:

Wavelength of the photon depends on transition from different states.

Explanation:

The wavelength of the photon that is emitted from the atom during the transition depends on the transition from different states. If the photon is emitted from n=4 state to n=3 state, the wavelength of photon is 1875 while on the other hand, if the photon is emitted from n=5 state to n=3 state, the wavelength of photon is 1282. If the photon is emitted from n=3 state to n=2 state, the wavelength of photon is 656.
