The arrangement within energy levels of the seven electrons of an atom of nitrogen is  2.5 (that is the first sub shell= 2 while the second sub shell=5)

explanation

In every atom the first energy level can accommodate a maximum of two (2) electrons. The next energy level can accommodate a maximum of 8 electrons. Therefore the seven electron for  nitrogen,  2 electron are put on first sub shell  while other other 5 are putted in the second sub shell.

How does energy move in ecosystems
Alex777 [14]
Producers(plants) produce organic compounds through photosynthesis. They are then eaten by secondary consumers in the next tropic level who obtain the energy the plants have. Then those animals are eaten by more secondary consumers in the next trophic level, obtaining more energy, and the cycle continues

A solution is made by mixing equal masses of methanol, CH 4 O , CH4O, and ethanol, C 2 H 6 O . C2H6O. Determine the mole fractio
wariber [46]

Answer: The mole fraction of methanol

Xmeth= 0.59

The mole fraction of ethanol

Xeth = 0.41

Explanation:

Mole fraction of a component can be determined by:

Xi = moles of i / total moles of the components the components

Where i indicates the component

An equal mass of 100.0g is assumed for both methanol and ethanol

Molar mass of Methanol (CH4O)

= (1*12) + (4*1) +(1*16) =32g/mol

Mole of Methanol = mass of methanol /molar mass of methanol

=100/32 = 3.13mol.

Molar mass of ethanol ( C2H6O)

= (2*12)+(6*1)+(1*16) = 46.0g/mol

Mole of ethanol = 100/46

= 2.17mol.

Mole fraction of methanol (Xmeth)

= moles of methanol / total moles

Xmeth = 3.13/(3.13+2.17)

Xmeth = 0.59

Mole fraction of ethanol (Xeth)

= moles of ethanol /total moles

= 2.17/((3.13+2.17)

Xeth= 0.41

The specific reactants that an enzyme acts on are called
Vikentia [17]

Answer:

substrates

Explanation:

Substrates -

It is one of the biochemical species that is involved in a biochemical reaction , that reacts with the enzyme , in order to give the product , is known as a substrate  .

In the very first step , the enzyme selectively binds with the substrate , to give an enzyme - substrate complex .

And , in the last step , complex further gives the final product of the biochemical reaction .
