Here we know that two infinite charge sheets are arranged perpendicular to each other

Here electric field due to infinite charge sheet is always perpendicular to the sheet

and the electric field is given by the formula

E = \frac{\sigma}{2\epsilon_0}

now we know that both sheets are charged with same magnitude of charge density but the sign of charge is different here

so here we can say that electric field at common point due to each sheet will have perpendicular field but one plate will exert field lines outwards while other plate will exert inwards field

so here direction of net electric field will be given as

tan\theta = \frac{E_y}{E_x}

here we know that

E_y = E_x =\frac{\sigma}{2\epsilon_0}

so we have

tan\theta = 1

[tex]\theta = 45 degree[\tex]

so field will make 45 degree angle

A vector quantity must include both magnitude and direction. Which measurement is a vector quantity? A) the rain accumulation at
bogdanovich [222]

Answer:

B)The motion of water in an ocean current

Explanation:

With respect to measurements, a vector has both a magnitude and a direction. The first three examples (maximum height of a hill, air temperature, and rain accumulation) are magnitudes only. The fourth example (motion of water in an ocean current) is a vector, because it has a magnitude (speed) and a direction (with the current).

Which two options would INCREASE the electric force between two charged particles?
atroni [7]

The electric force between two charged particles can be increased by decreasing the distance between the two particles.

<h3>How to increase electric force between two charged particles.</h3>

inn [45]

Answer:

An external force is a force that acts on an object within the system from outside the system. This type of force is different than an internal force, which acts between two objects that are both within the system. The net external force combines these two definitions; it is the total combined external force
