The pressure that  will  be   exerted if  four sample  of gas are placed in a single  3.5 container  is calculated as below

if  each gas occupies 675  mmhg

what about  4 gases in the sample
by cross  multiplication

= 675 mm hg x 4/1 = 2.7  x10^3mmhg (answer D)

Based on the standard free energies of formation, which of the following reactions represent a feasible way to synthesize the pr
Luda [366]

Answer:

Option B and D

Explanation:

The Gibb's free energy also referred to as the gibb's function represented with letter G. it is the amount of useful work obtained from a system at constant temperature and pressure. The standard gibb's free energy on the other hand is a state function represented as Delta-G, as it depends on the initial and final states of the system.

A feasible way to synthesize the product entails the spontaneity of the reaction.

The spontaneity of a reaction is explained by the standard gibb's free energy.

If Delta-G = -ve ( the reaction is spontaneous)

if Delta -G = +ve ( the reaction is non-spontaneous)

if Delta-G = 0 ( the reaction is at equilibrium)

Hence the option (B and D) with negative Gibb's free energy are the reaction that are spontaneous.

The size of earthquakes is usually measured using the moment magnitude scale, which is a measure of the energy released.
meriva

Answer:True

Explanation: Moment magnitude is used by the USGS- it is based on the total moment release of the earthquake. Moment is a product of the distance and the force. The moment magnitude scale gives an esitmate of the total energy released from the earthquake

Which amino acid(s) are metabolites in the urea cycle, but are not used as building blocks of proteins? A) Ornithine B) Citrilli
In-s [12.5K]

Answer:

D)

Explanation:

Ornithine and Citrulline are the amino acids which are metabolites in the urea cycle but not used as building blocks of proteins.

Ornithine is the most important reactant in urea cycle that is responsible for 80% of the excretion of nitrogen in the body. It even improves liver function.

Even Citrulline is not used in the building blocks of protein, Citrulline is mainly used to widen blood vessels and may play a role in muscle building.

Fill in the blank spot.
Anastasy [175]

Answer:

Alloys and Composites

Explanation:

<u>Drill bits are made of alloys</u> because alloys are very much resistant to corrosion and are created when one or multiple metals are mixed with other elements that are non-metallic in nature. Due to their greater strength, they are used in the power drills in order to create borehole drills at the mining site. Borehole drilling is commonly done in order to understand the sub-surface strata before mining.

<u>The bodies along with the handles of power drills are constructed of composite insulators</u> because within the composites there is the absence of free electrons that has the ability to flow and produce electricity. So they are considered to be used as a good insulator.
