Mole   is  equal  to   mass  of  the  element  divided  by   molar  mass  of  the  element.  that   is
mole=mass/molar  mass
From  periodic  table calcium  has  a   molar  mass  of  40   g/mol
moles  is   therefore  =800g/40g/mol=20moles

A chemistry student must write down in her lab notebook the concentration of a solution of potassium chloride. The concentration
DerKrebs [107]

Answer:

3.65 g / ml correct to 3 sig. fig.

Explanation:

The computation of the concentration required is shown below:

As we know that

[A] = mass of solute ÷ volume of solution

Before that first find the mass of solute

Given that

Initial weight = 5.55g

And,

Final weight = 92.7 g

So,

Mass of KCl is

= 92.7 - 5.55

= 87.15 g ~ 87.2 g

Now the KCi is fully dissolved, so the volume is 23.9 ml

So,  concentration is

= 87.2 g ÷ 23.9 ml

= 3.65 g / ml correct to 3 sig. fig.

Speed of Light Math Quiz (20 points)
Goryan [66]

The wavelength of light : 4.14 x 10⁻⁵ m

<h3>Further explanation </h3>

Radiation energy is absorbed by photons

The energy in one photon can be formulated as

\large{\boxed{\bold{E\:=\:h\:.\:f}}}

Where

h = Planck's constant (6,626.10⁻³⁴ Js)

f = Frequency of electromagnetic waves

The energy of the light = 4.8 x 10⁻²¹ J

The wavelength of light :

\tt E=h.\dfrac{c}{\lambda}\\\\\lambda=\dfrac{h.c}{E}\\\\\lambda=\dfrac{6.626.10^{-34}\times 3.10^8}{4.8.10^{-21}}\\\\\lambda=4.14.10^{-5}~m

What is an element considered a pure substance?
Alona [7]

A compound is a pure substance composed of two or more different atoms chemically bonded to one another. A compound can be destroyed by chemical means. It might be broken down into simpler compounds, into its elements or a combination of the two.
