Answer:

Minimum elastic modulus of fiber = 455.64 GPa

Explanation:

Contents of composite material = Epoxy and Unidirectional fibers

Elastic modulus of epoxy = 3.5 GPa

Elastic modulus of composite material = 320 GPa

Volume fraction of fiber = 70 %

Volume fraction of epoxy = 100 - 70 = 30%

Elastic modulus of composite material = 3.5 x 0.3 + Elastic modulus of fiber x 0.7 = 320

0.7 x Elastic modulus of fiber = 320 - 1.05 = 318.95

Elastic modulus of fiber = 455.64 GPa

Minimum elastic modulus of fiber = 455.64 GPa

Which trophic level has the least available energy in kilojoules in this food web?
insens350 [35]

The highest trophic level has the least available energy in kilojoules.

Even though the food web is not shown in the question, but we know that energy decreases steadily as it is passed on from one trophic level to the next according to the second law of thermodynamics.

Energy enters into the system from the sun. The primary producers utilize this energy to produce food. As plants are eaten by animals, this energy is transferred along the food web an diminishes at each higher trophic level.

At the highest trophic level, the the least available energy in kilojoules in this food web is found.

if an average cloud has a density of 0.5 g/m3 and has a volume of 1,000,000,000 m3,what is the weight of an average cloud
sveta [45]

If you have (1 x 10⁹) cubic meters of volume, and 1/2 gram of mass
in each cubic meter, then you have

          (1/2 x 10⁹) grams = (5 x 10⁸) grams = (5 x 10⁵) kilograms of mass .

On Earth, that mass weighs  4,900,000 newtons .

                                            (about  1,102,300 pounds)

A train of mass 5.6 × 10^5kg is at rest in a station.at time t=0s, a resultant force acts on the train and it starts to accelera
lana66690 [7]

Answer:

420000N

Explanation:

Given parameters:

Mass of the train  = 5.6 x 10⁵kg

Acceleration  = 0.75m/s²

Unknown:

Resultant force = ?

Solution:

According to newton's second law, force is the product of mass and acceleration;

   Force  = mass x acceleration

Resultant force that acts on the train is given below;

 Force  = 5.6 x 10⁵kg  x 0.75m/s²  = 420000N
