Developmental Milestones are markers that are set forth by early childhood experts as a tool to measure a child’s growth in four primary areas of development

Speech/Language

Cognitive/Intellectual

Social/Emotional

Fine/Gross Motor development

The importance of Developmental Milestones is two-fold.  It validates and reassures parents that they are providing the skills, information and ideas needed to raise a happy, healthy, well adjusted child.  It also helps provide a child and their family with some extra support, through early childhood intervention, when needed, so a child can meet their full potential.

Charlotte and James have three young children. Charlotte’s parents are originally from France and her husband James is from Nige
lozanna [386]

Explanation:

In this question, it is told that Charlotte and James are from different countries. Charlotte is from France and James is from Nigeria. They have been brought up in different cultures. Now they have three kids and Charlotte and James differ in their views on how to bring up their children. Except this, they have many things in common. Kids' paternal grand parents also think that children don't know enough about their father's culture. So in this situation, the parents can do many things to make their children know enough about both cultures. They can do any or all of the following things to keep their children intact with both cultures.

- Give them books about the cultures of both sides

- Watch movies about their cultures with children

- Celebrate their culture's rituals in front of the children

- Tell them stories about important events that are held in their cultures

- Take the children to the origins on special cultural occasions.

And lastly leave it to children which culture they want to choose, as this should purely be the children's choice, but they should be fully aware of them before making their decision.
