Correct answer choice is :

B) Experimental evidence.

Explanation:

Atomic theory is an experimental theory of the nature of matter, which says that matter is comprised of discrete units named atoms. Since atoms were observed to be separated, scientists later discovered the term primary particles to explain the uncuttable, though not strong, parts of an atom. The field of science which analyzes subatomic particles in particle physics, and it is in this field that scientists believe to determine the true basic nature of matter.

___Fe + ___O2 →___Fe2O3
Anni [7]
D -
You basically keep varying the coefficient so until the number of atoms for each element is equal. I started with iron to show how you might have to change coefficients but it would be more efficient and quicker to start with oxygen since it changes the value or iron required.

When an oxygen atom forms an ion, it gains two electrons. What is the electrical charge of the oxygen ion?
Damm [24]
The oxygen atom, before it gains these two electrons, has a neutral charge, meaning that it has as many protons as electrons. After it gains 2 electrons, it has 2 more electrons than protons. Each electron has a charge of -1, so the whole molecule will  have a charge of -2. The correct answer is a)!

The potential difference between the two terminals on a battery is 9 volts. How much energy is required to transfer 150 coulombs
irina [24]

Answer: 1350J

Explanation:

To solve this, we are going to use the formula for calculating potential difference which is:

Potential difference (V) = Work done (W) / Total charge (C)

Therefore,

9 volts = Work done / 150

Work done = 150 × 9 = 1350J
