Hello. This question is incomplete. The complete question would be:

"___________ are muscle contusions, meaning damage to soft tissue and blood vessels that cause bleeding underneath the skin. A. Puncture wounds B. Abrasions C. Lacerations D. bruise"

Answer:

D. bruise

Explanation:

Hematoma is the accumulation of extravasated blood in a traumatized area, either in an accident or in surgery. That is, a bruise is characterized as muscle bruising, meaning damage to soft tissues and blood vessels that cause bleeding under the skin.

When we strike a part of the body, the superficial blood vessels rupture and the blood spreads under the skin, leaving a purplish trail.

In addition to swelling, the area becomes sore and hot, typical symptoms of the inflammatory process, which is a reaction of the body to stimulate the regeneration of the affected region.

The duration varies from a few days to weeks, depending on the area affected and the proportion, as well as the individual response of each. As it heals, the color changes to a green and yellow tone.

Why do you think it is important to stretch and bring your heart rate down after exercise ?
zavuch27 [327]
It is important to stretch before exercising because for example if you were to be doing a strenuous workout it causes the blood vessels in your legs to expand. Which then causes more blood into your legs and feet. If you were to stop after a while of exercising your heart rate slows down and blood can pool into your lower body which could cause you to possibly faint.

Can you take norethindrone a week after your period or does it have to be before? How effective is the "mini pill"?
inna [77]
Well... It wouldn't be effective as it is a synthetic progestin meant to cause menstrual bleeding and ovulation... The thing is that because that would take four more weeks to happen again, so it would be ineffective.

The mini pill which is essentially the same thing and is Progestin is to be taken everyday and has a 90 effectivity rate.

Lino is a linebacker on his college football team. He is concerned about achieving adequate hydration during intense, hot summer
Finger [1]

Answer:

10-15 cups of water per practice session

Explanation:

Based on the information provided within the question it can be said that in this scenario Lino should be consuming about 10-15 cups of water per practice session. This is because, studies have shown that an athlete should consume about 2-3 cups of fluid for every pound lost during exercise. Therefore multiplying this number by the 5 pounds that Lino loses per practice session would equal 10 - 15 cups per session.
