Answer:

-6m/s^2

Explanation:

Acceleration is the quantity that increase or decrease the velocity per time unit, that means, we can obtain that quantity by dividing change in velocity between time, in this case a=(Vfinal-Vinitial)/t, replacing a=(0m/s-60m/s)/10s , so a=-6m/s^2.

An airplane traveling at 60 m/s comes to a stop in 10 seconds. The airplane’s acceleration is - 6 m / s^{2}[/tex]

Answer: - 6 m / s^{2}[/tex]

Explanation:

Given that the air plane was travelling at the speed of 60 m/s and the time taken to came to rest was 10 sec. Therefore, the acceleration can be calculated by following method,

Given that velocity = 60 m /s

Time taken to stop t = 10 sec

We can thus know that the final velocity is zero as the air-plane comes to rest, so the given velocity is the initial velocity

Therefore, acceleration or rather in this case,

      \text { deceleration }=\frac{v-u}{t}

      a=\frac{60-0}{10}= - 6 m / s^{2}

The synthesis of nitrogen trihydride from nitrogen gas and hydrogen gas is shown by which balanced chemical equation?
Strike441 [17]

Answer:

Option B. N2(g) + 3H2(g) → 2NH3(g)

Explanation:

When nitrogen react with hydrogen, they form a product as shown below:

N2+ H2 → NH3

We need to balance the equation. This is illustrated below:

There are 2 atoms of nitrogen on the left side and 1 atom on the right side. To balance it, put 2 in front of NH3 as shown below:

N2+ H2 → 2NH3

Now, There are a total of 6 atoms of Hydrogen on the right side and 2 atoms on the left side side. This can be balanced by putting 3 in front of H2 as shown below:

N2+ 3H2 → 2NH3

Now we see clearly that the equation is balanced as we have equal numbers of atoms of N and H on both sides of the equation

An isolated conductor has a net charge of +12.0 × 10- 6 c and a cavity with a particle of charge q = +3.70 × 10-6
pychu [463]
This is just a simple problem finding out the outer surface charge, the inner surface charge and the net charge. Net charge by definition means the difference between two charges. In this case, the formula that is applicable here is outer surface charge = total net charge - inner cavity surface charge. Since we are given already with the net charge equal to 12.0 x10-6 C and the inner charge magnituude f 3.7 x10-6 C, the the total charge must be outer charge is +10x10(-6)) - (-3.0x10(-6)) = +1.3x10(-5) C.
Charges are measured in coloumbs and most likely exist on surfaces of entities like particles, walls etc.
