Speed=0.3*100=30m/s

speed=0.1*50=5m/s

frequency=20/0,5=40HZ

frequency=80/0.2=400HZ

frequency=120/0.4=300HZ

wavelength=340/440=0.77m

wavelength=340/880=0.39m

wavelength=250/400=0.63m

speed=2*50=100m/s

speed=0.5*100=50m/s

A 5kg ball is on top of the school building at a height of 40m above the ground.
mojhsa [17]

Answer:

A-Caclcuate the potential energy of the ball at that height

Explanation:

(a). Mass of the Body = 10 kg.

Height = 10 m.

Acceleration due to gravity = 9.8 m/s².

Using the Formula,Potential Energy = mgh

= 10 × 9.8 × 10 = 980 J.

(b). Now, By the law of the conservation of the Energy, Total amount of the energy of the system remains constant.

∴ Kinetic Energy before the body reaches the ground is equal to the Potential Energy at the height of 10 m.

∴ Kinetic Energy = 980 J.

(c). Kinetic Energy = 980 J.

Mass of the ball = 10 kg.

∵ K.E. = 1/2 × mv²

∴ 980 = 1/2 × 10 × v²

∴ v² = 980/5

⇒ v² = 196

∴ v = 14 m/s.

An automobile engineer found that the impact of a truck colliding at 14 km/h with a concrete pillar caused the bumper to indent
BlackZzzverrR [31]
Hello
Here we must use the equation of motion
v^2 = u^2 + 2as; where v is final velocity, u is initial velocity, a is the acceleratoin and is the distance travelled.
We select this one because the time of collision is unknown to us.
We know the truck stopped so its final velocity is 0; thus v = 0.
Converting the initial velocity to SI units, we get 3.89 m/s.
The distance traveled, s, is 0.062 meters.
Inserting all of these values into the equation,
0 = (3.89)^2 + 2(a)(0.062)
and solving for a, we get a to be
-122.0 ms^(-2)
The negative sign indicates the acceleration is in the opposite direction to the initial motion, which means the truck decelerated. This is consistent with the given condition.

A listener increases his distance from a sound source by a factor of 4.49.
noname [10]

Answer: Δβ (dB) = -13.1dB

Explanation:

The intensity of sound is inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them.

I ∝ 1/r²

I₁/I₂= r₂²/r₁² .....1

When the listener increases his distance from the source by a factor of 4.49.

Then,

r₂/r₁= 4.49

From equation 1

I₁/I₂ = (4.49)²

I₁/I₂ = 20.16

I₂/I₁ = 1/20.16

The change in sound intensity in dB can be given as

Δβ (dB) = 10 log(I₂/l₁) = 10log(1/20.6) = -13.1dB
