Answer:

The answer to your question is P = 1.64 atm

Explanation:

Data

Volume = 2.5 x 10⁷ L

Temperature = 22°C

Pressure = ?

Moles = 1.7 x 10⁶

R = 0.082 atm L/ mol°K

Process

1.- Convert temperature to °K

Temperature = 22 + 273

                      = 295°K

2.- Use the Ideal gas law to solve this problem

                PV = nRT

- Solve for P

                P = nRT / V

- Substitution

                P = (1.7 x 10⁶)(0.082)(295) / 2.5 x 10⁷

- Simplification

                P = 41123000 / 2.5 x 10⁷

- Result

                P = 1.64 atm

Describe differences between conduction and convection give examples
nevsk [136]

Explanation:

Both conduction and convection are both forms of heat transfer from one place to another.

  • In conduction, there must be contact between two bodies for the process to take place but in convection, the matter moves to transfer heat.
  • Conduction mostly occurs in solid substances whereas convection occurs mostly in fluids.
  • Heat transfer in conduction is quite slow compared to convection which is much faster.

Example of conduction is heating of iron pot when cooking

Example of convection is the refrigerating system.

How is the periodic table important for all of science and not just chemistry? pleas answer me
valentina_108 [34]

The periodic table helps people understand what a substance's atoms can contain, which also provides information on how it can perform a specific action, or how well it can act as a base and so on. When people understand what something is made of, we can figure out what it can be used for. This makes it easier for workers to construct important structures.

Hope this helps and have a nice day.
