The slope-intercept form:

y=mx+b

m - slope

b - y-intercept

We have the slope m = 5 → y=5x+b

and point (-2, 0). Substitute:

0=-2(5)+b

0=-10+b       <em>add 10 to both sides</em>

10=b\to b=10
