Hi,

Answer: 1,663

My work: This problem can be easily achieved by taking the numbers 735 and 688 and adding them up to the answer of 1,423. You would do these numbers first because they are in parentheses, and any number in parenthese is to be done first! After finished with this you would take 1,423 and add it with 240 to get the answer of 1,663.

I Hope this helps!

Hi,

(735 + 688) + 240 \\ 1423 + 240 = 1663

Evaluation would not have to be precise but the best one you can give is the accurate one. In this case the evaluation is 1663.

Hope this helps.

Jax gets 4 packs per month...each pack contains 4 cards...so he gets 16 cards per month.
Sofia gets 3 packs per month..each pack contains 4 cards...so she gets 12 cards per month..

56 + 16m = 68 + 12m
16m - 12m = 68 - 56
4m = 12
m = 12/4
m = 3.....they will have the same number of cards in 3 months

Jax : 56 + 16(3) = 104 cards
Sofia : 68 + 12(3) = 104 cards

and they will both have 104 cards

Which algebraic expression is equivalent to the expression below?
prohojiy [21]
You can again ignore the parenthesis because you are not distributing anything.
Your equation will look like this

3x + 11 + 6x

You can move each of these numbers around any way you like. You can combine the 3x and the 6x if you want, but they did not do that. You cannot take the x away and put it in front of the 11 though.

B. is your answer. All they did was move the 6x inside the parenthesis and the 11 out of the parenthesis.

Always remember, when you are adding things together, the parenthesis don't matter!

The pair of figures to the right are similar. what is the ratio of the perimeters and the ratio of the areas?
marissa [1.9K]

Answer:

the ratio of perimeters is 3/5

the ratio of areas is 9/25

Step-by-step explanation:

first we divide the given sides of both figures

perimeter=side 1/side 2

=15/25

p=3/5

to find the ratios of the area

=(side 1/side 2)^2

=(3/5)^2

=9/25
