Answer:

  • Zygote is formed by fusion of 23 chromosomes from female and 23 chromosomes from male
  • This fusion happens through a process of fertilization to form an egg
  • The human zygote consist for 46 chromosomes and is diploid in nature
  • During the process of fusion,the sperm combines with the membrane of the ovum
  • Later the zygote is formed and become activated for the cell division for the formation of embryo
  • Embryo is form by undergoing different stage of development namely :-

1)morula

2)blastula

3)gastrula
