Answer:

No

Explanation:

Baileyeturnerbt is correct that it isn't a star, asteroid, or meteor but she happened to leave out the fact it truly isn't a planet. It is a dwarf planet that is in a very odd orbit than other planets in our solar system. It is in such an odd path that it could hit one of the other planets and never be seen again. There is a lot of scientific research backing up that it s a dwarf planet. It is in between our planets and our outer solar system. This can be explained by gravity pulling the dwarf planet into our solar system. Many people claim it is a planet but the only evidence you have is that it isn't in our outer solar system. Did you know that there are dwarf plaents in our asteroid belts? Those in our inner solar system and even closer to us that pluto. There simply isn't enough evidence to support your claim. Until you convince hundreds, possibly thousands of scientists, that pluto is a planet our textbooks will continue to say pluto is not a planet.

Yes I do think so because it is not a star, and it is not an astroid or meteor. Do it MUST be a planet.

A 9.0 kg test rocket is fired vertically from Cape Canaveral. Its fuel gives it a kinetic energy of 1905 J by the time the rocke
mrs_skeptik [129]

Answer:

21.6m

Explanation:

Since the rocket engine burns all the fuel hence the kinetic energy will be converted to potential energy

Potential Energy = mass × acceleration due to gravity × height

Given

PE = 1905J

Mass = 9.0kg

Acceleration due to gravity =9.8m/s²

Required

Height h

Substitute into the formula

1905 = 9(9.8)h

1905 = 88.2h

h =1905/88.3

h = 21.6m

Hence the required height is 21.6m

Calculate the peak voltage of a mains supply of 240Vrms.
pashok25 [27]
Answer:

So 240V RMS is equivalent to 339 V peak, or 679 V peak to peak and can be written as 240 Vrms. (the formula is Vrms = Vmax / √2). The waveform is a sinusoid varying about a neutral, which can also be drawn as a vector with a single arrow pointing away from neutral.

Please HELP ME If the motion of an object changes, what must be true about the forces acting on that object?
atroni [7]

Answer:

If there is a net force acting on an object, the object will have an acceleration and the object's velocity will change. ... Newton's second law states that for a particular force, the acceleration of an object is proportional to the net force and inversely proportional to the mass of the object.

I’m confused on the simplest part, which is what to multiply the 2/5 by to get it to the other side...please help
san4es73 [151]

Answer:

Mass, M = 4.859 Kg

Explanation:

Given the following data;

Radius, r = 0.225 m

Moment of inertia, I = 0.123 kgm²

To find the mass;

Mathematically, the moment of inertia is given by the formula;

I = ⅖Mr²

Making M the subject of formula, we have;

Cross-multiplying, we have;

2I = Mr²

M = \frac {2I}{r^{2}}

Substituting into the formula, we have;

M = \frac {2*0.123}{0.225^{2}}

M = \frac {0.246}{0.050625}

Mass, M = 4.859 Kg
