formula\ for\ average\ speed= \frac{distance}{time}\\\\
Hector:\\\\
v_H=\frac{8miles}{85\ minutes}\approx0,09\frac{mile}{min}\\\\
Mario:\\\\
v_M=\frac{6miles}{55minutes}=0,1\frac{miles}{min}\\\\
Mario\ has\ faster\ speed.

Since v=d/t
We can change the times from minutes to hours so that the answers will be in mph (but it isn't necessary)
Hectors speed=8/1.42=5.6mph
Marios speed=6/0.92=6.5mph
Therefore mario has the greater average speed.
Hope this helps :-)

Literal equations 2x-3y=8 solve for y
vichka [17]
2x-3y = 8

Add 3y on both sides

2x = 8 + 3y

Subtract 8 on both sides

3y = 2x - 8

Divide 3 on both sides

y= \frac{2}{3}x- \frac{8}{3}

Find f (2b^2) for (x)=x^2-4x
BlackZzzverrR [31]

Answer:

A

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given the function:

f(x) = x^2 - 4x

And we want to find:

\displaystyle f(2b^2)

Substitute:

\displaystyle f(2b^2) =(2b^2)^2 -4(2b^2)

And evaluate:

\displaystyle \begin{aligned}  f(2b^2) &=(2b^2)^2 -4(2b^2) \\ &=(4b^4) +(-8b^2) \\ &= 4b^4 - 8b^2 \end{aligned}

In conclusion, our answer is A.

The measure of < A is 45 degree
VashaNatasha [74]

We are given \triangle ABC \cong \triangle EFG

The order of the letter sequence is important. The letters pair up based on how they are arranged. We see that A and E are the first letters of the sequences. So this means that angles A and E are the same measure

angle A = angle E

3x+20 = 5x-80

3x-5x = -80-20

-2x = -100

x = -100/(-2)

x = 50

Use this x value to find the measure of angle A

angle A = 3x+20

angle A = 3(50)+20

angle A = 150+20

angle A = 170 degrees

<h3>Therefore, the statement "the measure of angle A is 45 degrees" is <u>false</u>.</h3>
