Answer:

6.022 × 10²² atoms

Explanation:

Generally 1 mol of any element contains 6.02×10^23  atoms. The number 6.022 × 10²³ is known as Avogadro's number.

Mass of Aluminium = 2.70g

Molar mass = 27g/mol

Number of moles = Mass / Molar mass = 2.70 / 27 = 0.1 mol

1 mol =  6.022 × 10²³

0.1 mol = x

x = 6.022 × 10²³ * 0.1 = 6.022 × 10²² atoms

When a piece of metal A is placed in a solution containing ions of metal B, metal B plates out on the piece of A.(a) Which metal
zmey [24]

While metal B is being reduced from an ion to a solid metal, metal A is being oxidized.

Metal A is being displaced because, through oxidation, it transforms from a solid metal to ions in a solution.

What is Oxidation ?

Redox reactions include a change in the oxidation state of the substrate. Loss of electrons or a rise in an element's oxidation state are both considered to be oxidation.

Gaining electrons or lowering the oxidation state of an element or its constituent atoms are both examples of reduction.

In general, the term "reduction" refers to a reaction in which a chemical receives additional electrons; the compound that gets electrons is referred to as being reduced. We can think of the transformation of a ketone or an aldehyde into an alcohol as a two-electron reduction because hydride can be thought of as a proton plus two electrons.

So finally we can say that Metal A is being oxidized.

You carefully weigh out 11.00 g of caco3 powder and add it to 44.55 g of hcl solution. you notice bubbles as a reaction takes pl
Zinaida [17]
The bubbles that were observed after the mixing of the two substances is one of the products of the reaction. It is the carbon dioxide that is produced. To determine the mass of this gas produced, we need to remember the Law of conservation of mass where mass cannot be created or destroyed. With this, we can say that the total mass that goes in a process should be equal to the mass that is goes out of the process no matter what the reaction is. We do as follows:

Mass of reactants = mass of products
11.00 + 44.55 = 51.04 + mass of carbon dioxide
mass of carbon dioxide = 4.51 g

You wish to make 250. mL of 0.20 M KCl from a stock solution of 1.5 M KCl and DI water.
Nitella [24]

The question requires us to use the dilution formula M_iV_i=M_fV_f, where M_i and V_i are the stock concentration and volume respectively, then M_f and V_f are the dilute concentration and volume respectively.

a. C_s_t_o_c_k= 1.5 M KCI, C_d_i_l_u_t_e=0.20M KCl, V_d_i_l_u_t_e=250ml KCl

b.M_iV_i=M_fV_f\\\implies V_i= \frac{M_fV_f}{M_i} = \frac{0.20M \times 250ml}{1.5M} = 33.3\ ml

To prepare the solution 33.3ml of 1.5M KCl is diluted to a total final volume of 250ml.

What are some problems chemist must consider when developing new technologies?
Ratling [72]
The study of chemistry helps us understand the nature of the world around us. Chemistry is always developing to keep up with any phenomenon that appears in nature.
Therefore, scientists and chemists are always developing new technologies. However, chemists must very careful when developing these new technologies. They should consider any bad chemical reactions that might occur and also chemicals that harmful to either the individuals or the environment.
