Multiply and simplify (3 + i)(4 + 2i)

(3 + i)(4 + 2i) = (3*4) + (3*2i) + (4*i) + (2i*i) = 12 + 6i + 4i + 2i^2

i^2 = -1

12 + 6i + 4i + 2i^2 = 12 + 6i + 4i -2 = 10 + 10i

Use the imaginary number i to rewrite the expression:

--\sqrt{-16} \\(-1)\sqrt{(-1)16}\\(-1)\sqrt{16}i\\(-1)4i\\-4i

Helppp please this is urgent :) thank you
larisa [96]

The slope would be -5/4 or -1.25 because the y-intercept is (0,5) and x-intercept is (4,0), thus giving y = 5 - (5 x)\/4
