Lots of people worldwide still do use the lunar calendar. Actually, before the romans came, the ancients used the lunar calendar. We don't use it anymore because it isn't useful. We prefer months of equal days, which is not the lunar calendar.

The wavelength of 10^15-Hz light is:
Vanyuwa [196]

Answer:

D.300nm

Explanation:

Wavelength = Speed of light / Frequency of light.....

where the speed of light is...(3 × 10^8)

Wavelength = (3 × 10^8)/(1 × 10^15)

Wavelength = 3 × 10^-7

;Wavelength = 300 × 10^-9

Hence its....300 nm

- The school zone in front of your school has a posted speed limit of 25 mi/h, which is about 11 m/s. Let's
miv72 [106K]

Answer:

s = 38.7 m

Explanation:

First we calculate the distance covered during uniform motion of reaction time.

s₁ = vt

where,

s₁ = distance covered during uniform motion = ?

v = uniform speed = 11 m/s

t = time = 2.3 s

Therefore,

s₁ = (11 m/s)(2.3 s)

s₁ = 25.3 m

Now, we calculate the distance covered during decelerated motion:

2as₂ = Vf² - Vi²

where,

a = deceleration = -4.5 m/s²

s₂ = distance covered during decelerated motion = ?

Vf = Final Velocity = 0 m/s

Vi = Initial Velocity = 11 m/s

Therefore,

2(-4.5 m/s²)s₂ = (0 m/s)² - (11 m/s)²

s₂ = (-121 m²/s²)/(-9 m/s²)

s₂ = 13.4 m

the total distance will be:

s = s₁ + s₂

s = 25.3 m + 13.4 m

s = 38.7 m

Which health related fitness component is tested in the curl-up test
Aleksandr-060686 [28]

Answer:

Curl up test.

Explanation:

The curl up test is done to check the strength of the abdomen muscles and the stability of the core muscles. The strength of the core muscles determines the stability of the body.

The curl up test is done to test the abdomen strength and endurance and the strength of the back muscles.

The test requires the following materials: A flat cushioned surface(clean) and a measuring strip

 • The measuring strip is placed on the mat under the students legs so that their fingertips are just resting on the nearest edge of the measuring strip. The feet cannot be held or rest against an object. Keeping heels in contact with the mat, the student curls up slowly, sliding their fingers across the measuring strip until the fingertips reach the other side, then curls back down until their head touches the mat. There should be 20 curl-ups per minute

What charge accumulates on the plates of a 2.0-μF air-filled capacitor when it is charged until the potential difference across
enot [183]

Answer:

0.0002 C.

Explanation:

Charge: This can be defined as the ratio of current to time flowing in a circuit. The S.I unit of charge is Coulombs (C)

Mathematically, charge can be expressed as

Q = CV ................................. Equation 1

Where Q = amount of charge, C = capacitance of the capacitor, V = potential difference across the plates.

Given: C = 2.0-μF = 2×10⁻⁶ F, V = 100 V.

Substitute into equation 1

Q = 2×10⁻⁶× 100

Q = 2×10⁻⁴ C

Q = 0.0002 C.

The amount of charge accumulated = 0.0002 C
