Your original answer is correct.If you set up a ratio table, it works. For example:
So, they amount of money she's taxed on is $55. We get this by doing 175-20.

$55 is equal to 106% because 6% is tax
Now, you want to find just 100% which is the same as no tax. To get from 106 to 11, you divide by 1.06. So, you also divide 55 by 1.06 to get $51.89
She can't go over this because she won't have enough money.

So, the answer is x≤$51.89
Hope this helps!

For #2 the answer is F because the first thing that you do is subtract 175 by 120 and get 55. Then divide 55 by the percent 6%. When you divide a percentage you change it to a decimal  by moving it two times to the left.  6%. =   0.06
so 55 divided by 0.06 equals 3.3, also known as answer F 3.30.

The area would be 22 if I'm not mistaken. You would divide 69.08 by 3.14 and you would get 22.

Whats the density of an object with the length of 5.0 cm a height of 3.0 and width of 15.0 cm and a mass of 24 grams
Sphinxa [80]

Answer:

The density of the object is 0.1067 grams per cubic centimeter. (Rounded off to 4th decimal)

Step-by-step explanation:

Density = [Mass/Volume]

Here we have been given the dimensions of the object.

Volume = Height * Width * Length

Volume = 3.0cm*15.0cm*5.0cm

             =225cm^{3}

Now we can substitute the Mass and the Volume to the density equation.

Density = [Mass/Volume]

             =\frac{24grams}{225cm^{3} }

             =0.1067 grams per cubic centimeter. (Rounded off to 4th decimal)
