Where would I split this I will give brainliest
motikmotik
Hi. This is is how it goes tep by step.

Cut the rectangle/shape the way you feel more comfortable. However, you don't know so I will recommend you cut it in half from where the 12 is. so now the 12 ft would be broken in to 2. the top section would be 45 ft because 5 times 9 is 45. the bottom would be 98 because 7 time 14 is 98. the total would be 143. for the first one.

Violet knows that her subscription rate for the basic tier of cable television increased from $18.20 to $19.50 at some point dur
mezya [45]
The 2 equations are
18.20x+19.50y=230.10
and
x+y=12
where x is the months of original cost and y is months for new cost. Since you know that you paid for one year (12 months) you can make the second equation. Then you want to substitute the first equations x by making the second equation
x=(12-y)
18.20(12-y)+19.50y=230.10
218.40-18.20y+19.50y=230.10
1.30y=11.70
y=9
so that means you had the original rate for 3 months and the new one for 9 months

How does tan 135 degrees compare to tan -135 degrees
Anna007 [38]
Evaluating the tangent function for the two values we obtain the following:
tan 135=tan(135+180)=tan 315=-1

next:
tan -135=tan(180-135)=tan 45=1
thus comparing the two we see that tan 135 is negative while tan -135 is positive

Employment data at a large company reveal that 75% of the workers are married, 42% are college graduates, and half of the col
galina1969 [7]

Answer:

a. P=0.04

b. P=0.54

c. P=0.96

Step-by-step explanation:

If half of the college graduates are married, then we have:

- 21% are college graduates and married.

- 21% are college graduates and not married.

If 75% of the workers are married, and 21% of the workers are college graduates and married, then (75%-21%)=54% of the workers are not college graduates that are married.

If 25% of the workers are married, and 21% of the workers are college graduates and not married, then (25%-21%)=4% of the workers are not college graduates that are not married.

a) P=0.04 (explanation above)

b) P=0.54

c) In this case, the probability is the complement of point "a". Then we can calculate it by substracting the probability of not being married and not being a college graduate.

P=1-0.04=0.96
