A Human nerve cells have a net negative charge and the material in the interior of the cell is a good conductor. If a cell has a

net charge of -8.65pC, what are the magnitude and direction (inward or outward) of the net flux through the cell boundary?

Outwards....according to the principles of charges. net flux is towards the most positive charge ..hence the reason for outward. Workings with the attachments.

igor_vitrenko [27]
Well, the 20 seconds gives us enough information to actually calculate the power she has on her feet :)
Well, the work is 500*15=7500J, that is 7.5 kJ or about 18 calories (1 cal is 418J?) The power is that 7.5 kJ divided by 20 seconds: 375W. That's... OK, I suppose...

Which is the term used for a change in the magnitude of the velocity
Alborosie
Rate of change of velocity is called acceleration. When this rate of change is constant, it is called uniform acceleration. Like the change of velocity of an object falling freely under gravity. Its velocity increases by 9.8 m every second. This acceleration is denoted as 9.8m/s^2

A fan spins at 6.0 rev/s. You turn it off, and it slows at 1.0 rev/s2. What is the angular displacement before it stops
Komok [63]

Answer:

Angular displacement before it stops = 18 rev

Explanation:

Given:

Speed of fan w(i) = 6 rev/s

Speed of fan (Slow) ∝ = 1 rev/s

Final speed of fan w(f) = 0 rev/s

Find:

Angular displacement before it stops

Computation:

w(f)² = w(i) + 2∝θ

0² = 6² + 2(1)θ

0 = 36 + 2θ

2θ = -36

Angular displacement before it stops = -36 / 2

θ = -18

Angular displacement before it stops = 18 rev
