Hey there!

Stock solution:

Concentracion bromide = 0.128 M

initial solution in volumetric flask =  450 µl

So , moles of bromide present:

450  µl in liters :

1 µl  =   = 1*10⁻⁶ liters

450 * ( 1*10⁻⁶ )  = 0.00045

0.128 * 0.00045 =>  57.6 * 10⁻⁶ moles

Now volume final is 25 mL , in liters : 0.025 L ou 25*10⁻³

so  new  bromide concentration:

57.6*10⁻⁶ / 25*10⁻³=> 2.304*10⁻³ M

A 32.4 L gas sample at STP is compressed to a volume of 28.4 L, and the temperature is increased to 352 K. What is the new press
Sindrei [870]

Answer:

1.47 atm

Explanation:

Step 1: Given data

  • Initial volume (V₁): 32.4 L
  • Initial pressure (P₁): 1 atm (standard pressure)
  • Initial temperature (T₁): 273 K (standard temperature)
  • Final volume (V₂): 28.4 L
  • Final pressure (P₂): ?
  • Final temperature (T₂): 352 K

Step 2: Calculate the final pressure of the gas

We can calculate the final pressure of the gas using the combined gas law.

P₁ × V₁ / T₁ = P₂ × V₂ / T₂

P₂ = P₁ × V₁ × T₂ / T₁ × V₂

P₂ = 1 atm × 32.4 L × 352 K / 273 K × 28.4 L = 1.47 atm

Based upon the information provided in the class, which of the following bond types is the strongest? Question options:
Zigmanuir [339]

Answer: A hydrogen bonding is interaction between lone pair and hydrogen atom. An Ion-Dipole interaction is the interaction between an ion formed and a dipole. Dipole forms because of the electronegativity difference between two atom participating in the bond formation, and an ion is formed when an atom gains or lose electron. This ion-dipole interaction is strongest interaction.

Therefore, The right choice is (B)
