Which statements are true regarding the area of circles and sectors? Check all that apply.
AveGali [126]

Answer:

The correct options are a,b.

Step-by-step explanation:

The area of sector of a circle equals

Area of a sector = \theta r^{2}

where

\theta is the angle subtended at the center by the sector

r is the radius of circle

This indicates that area of the sector depends on:

1) Radius of circle

2) Angle subtended at the center by the sector

3) Area of sector does not depend on pi.

Also if we know the area of the sector only we cannot calculate area of area of whole triangle as we need one more information either angle of the sector and vice versa.

Find the range, median, and mode of the following dot plot.
Aloiza [94]

Answer:

Range: 0.07

Median: 0.145

Mode: none

Step-by-step explanation:

Range: largest #- smallest #

Median: middle number (when numbers are in order least to greatest) or when two are middle number you add them, and divide by two

Mode: most occurring number(s) (if there aren't any, no mode)—but if there are multiples such as 2 zeros and 2 ones then 0 and 1 would be the mode

liubo4ka [24]

Answer: v <= 1

Step-by-step explanation:

When you have a variable by a number, you do the opposite of multiplying, so you divide

Since there's only 14v you divide 14 from itself leaving just the variable

14 ÷ 14 = 1

You repeat this and divide on the other side

14 ÷ 14 = 1

Since you arent dividing by a negative on both sides, the arrow stays the same

v <= 1

Hope this helps!

QveST [7]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

f * g = (x^2 + 3x - 4) (x+4)

open bracket

x((x^2 + 3x - 4) + 4 (x^2 + 3x - 4)

x³ +3x²-4x+x²+12x-16

x³+3x²+x²-4x+12x-16

x³+4x²+8x-16 (domain is all real numbers.

f/g = (x^2 + 3x - 4)/(x+4)

factorising (x^2 + 3x - 4)

x²+4x-x_4

x(x+4) -1 (x+4)

(x+4)(x-1)

f/g = (x^2 + 3x - 4)/(x+4) =(x+4)(x-1)/(x+4) = (x-1)

Before factorisation, this was a rational function so the domain is all real numbers excluding any value that would make the denominator equal zero.

Hence I got x - 1, and x cannot equal -4

So the domain is just all real numbers without -4
