ΔH = H_{Products} -  H_{Reactants}

ΔH = +ve for Endothermic

ΔH = -ve for Exothermic

An exothermic reaction has reactants that are higher in energy than products because energy is absorbed to form the products.

An endothermic reaction has reactants that are lower in energy than products because energy is released to form the products.

This can be verified with the above equations.

If cells did not work together what would happen to the organisms
arlik [135]

Surely, If cells did not work together in an organism, there won't be formation of new cells and life process would stop

Living organisms

Living organisms; be it plants or animals are any organic or living system composed of cells and function as an individual entity.

  • All living organisms share a number of key characteristics or functions such as movement, respiration, homeostasis, reproduction, growth, evolution, competition and others.

  • Animals and plants also posess systems such as the digestive, skeletal, transport, nervous, excretory, respiratory and reproductive system.

  • Living organisms are also taxonomically classified as either unicellular microorganisms or multicellular plants and animals

So therefore, surely, If cells did not work together in an organism, there won't be formation of new cells and life process would stop

If the accepted value for the mass of an object is 20.0g and the student found that the mass of the object was 20.5g what is the
NikAS [45]

Answer:

Results

The percent error between 20 and 20.5 is 2.5%

Explanation:

Percent Error = | (20.5 − 20) / 20 | × 100 = | (0.5) / 20 | × 100 = | 0.025 | × 100 = 2.5% (three decimal places)Percent Error = 2.5%

How many moles of oxygen will occupy a volume of 2.5 liters at 1.2 atm
Citrus2011 [14]

We are given:_______________________________________________

Volume of Gas (V) = 2.5L

Pressure (P) = 1.2 atm

Temperature (T) = 25°C  OR 25+273 = 298 K

Universal Gravitational Constant (R) = 0.0821

Solving for number of moles:___________________________________

From the Ideal Gas Equation,

PV = nRT

(1.2)(2.5) = n(0.0821)(298)           [plugging the given values]

n = [(1.2)(2.5)] / [0.0821*298]

n = 300 / [298*8.21]

n = 0.12 moles

Hence, there are 0.12 moles of Oxygen in 2.5L of 1.2 atm gas when the temperature is 25°C
