Bacteria reproduce by injecting their genes into other cells. This statement is false.

Further Explanation:

The single celled microorganisms are called bacteria. The structure of the cell is very simple than other organisms which are more complex. They don’t have no organelles which are membrane bound and nucleus. Bacteria are of five types on the basis of their structure:

  • Spirilla
  • Vibrio
  • Spirochaetes
  • Cocci
  • Bacilli

Bacteria mainly reproduce by the binary fission. In this progression the single cell bacterium divides into two similar daughter cells. The process of binary fission initiates when the DNA of single cell bacteria replicates into two cells. The cell of bacteria elongated and divides into two identical cells.

The virus can be termed as an infectious organism that is capable of replication only inside the host. These organisms are able of affecting all the possible life forms including microorganisms, animals, and plants. The presence of genetic material is one major reason that supports the fact that viruses are living. The virus infects the host, adapts to its machinery and reproduces inside the host cell which also proves that viruses are living.

allsm [11]

Answer:

The correct answer is - serum osmolarity.

Explanation:

Serum osmolarity is one of the essential laboratory tests for diagnosing the hyperosmolar hyperglycemic nonketotic syndrome or HHNS. This test also helps to determine strategies for the treatment and evaluation range for HHNS.

Serum osmolarity of HHNS patients typically falls in the range of 350 mOsm/L or more. There is another test also available but serum osmolarity is very important in confirming a diagnosis of HHNS.

Thus, the correct answer is - serum osmolarity.
