Answer: R = 0.131 m

Explanation: The formulae for the distance between a fringe and the first (center) is given by

y = R×mλ/d

Where y = distance between first and nth fringe = 4mm = 4×10^-3m

λ = wavelength of light = 441.1nm = 441.1×10^-9m

R = distance between slits and screen =?

d = distance between slits = 0.29mm = 2.9×10^-4m

4×10^-3 = R ×2 ×441.4×10^-9/ 2.9×10^-5

Hence R = (4×10^-3) ×(2.9×10^-5)/2×441.4×10^-9

R = 1.16 × 10^-7/8.828×10^-7

R = 1.16/8.828

R = 0.131 m

From the ground an object is vertically thrown upwards with an angle of theta.
Mashutka [201]

Answer:

u/2 √(1 + 3 cos² θ)

Explanation:

The object is thrown at an angle θ, so the velocity has two components, vertical and horizontal.

Initially, the vertical component is u sin θ and the horizontal component is u cos θ.

At the maximum height, the vertical component is 0 and the horizontal component is u cos θ.

The mean vertical velocity is:

(u sin θ + 0) / 2 = u/2 sin θ

The mean horizontal velocity is:

(u cos θ + u cos θ) / 2 = u cos θ

The net mean velocity can be found with Pythagorean theorem:

v² = (u/2 sin θ)² + (u cos θ)²

v² = u²/4 sin² θ + u² cos² θ

v² = u²/4 (1 − cos² θ) + u² cos² θ

v² = u²/4 (1 − cos² θ) + u²/4 (4 cos² θ)

v² = u²/4 (1 − cos² θ + 4 cos² θ)

v² = u²/4 (1 + 3 cos² θ)

v = u/2 √(1 + 3 cos² θ)

Yoon Ki investigates electromagnetic induction by moving a bar magnet into a coil of wire. His experimental setup is shown. What
patriot [66]
The answer is "<span>connecting the galvanometer to the coil".
</span>
Electromagnetic induction is the creation of voltage or electromotive power because of an adjustment in the attractive field. Electromagnetic induction was found by Michael Faraday in the 1830s. Numerous electrical segments and sorts of gear work in light of the standard of electromagnetic induction .

In practice, a good insulator In practice, a good insulator A. slows heat flow. B. speeds negative heat flow. C. stops heat flow
photoshop1234 [79]

Answer:

<h2>The answer is  </h2><h2>A. slows heat flow.</h2>

Explanation:

 An insulator is a material that impedes the movement of heat or electric current from flowing.

Theoretically good heat insulators stops the movement of heat, while practically this insulation can only be slowed down.

Hence from the options listed the correct answer practically is

<h2>  A. slows heat flow.</h2>
