Ok, so since she spent $15 each week for 10 weeks, she spent a total of $150 over those 10 weeks. The best approach I would use for this is cross multiplication. The total percentage of Books and music would be 35% out of 100% because 10+25=35. The answer is b, 50.

Hope this helps :)

Answer:

$1806.06 million

Step-by-step explanation:

-This is a question of proportionality.

We are given that 13.2% is equivalent to $238.4 million in chocolate expenses

-To find the total value of chocolate expenditurerealized, we divide $238.4 million by 13.2%:

Total\ sales=\frac{238.4}{0.132}\\\\=\$1806.06\ million

Hence, the total amount spent on chocolate is $1806.06 million

You will take either a basket-weaving course or a philosophy course, depending on what your advisor decides. You estimate that t
gizmo_the_mogwai [7]

Answer: 0.660

Step-by-step explanation:

Denote B, P as the event that you will be put in the basket-weaving course and the event that you will be put in the philosophy course, respectively. Denote A, X as the event that you will get an A and the event that you will not get an A, respectively.

Using the addition rule and the multiplication rule:

P(A) = P(A \cap B) + P(A \cap P) = P(B) \times P(A|B) + P(P) \times P(A|P)\\ = 20\% \times 0.90 + 80\% \times 0.60 = 0.660
