Answer: Part A: 11.90 pounds

Step-by-step explanation:

Part A:

First off since you already know 11 tracks cost 9.35 pounds so you wanna find out how much 1 track costs to download.

To do that divide 9.35/11 whcih equals to 0.85 pounds.

Now you know the unit cost, all you have to do is mulitply 0.85 by 14, which is 11.90 pounds.

Part B: So sorry I couldn't answer, I don't really understnad the wording since I'm not really into the system of currency in pounds. Very sorry.

Explain or show how you could find 5 ÷ 1/3 by using the value of 5x3.
erastova [34]

Answer:

20

You could find 5/⅓

by using 5 × 3

Knowing that:

Any number multiplied by 1, gives the number itself.

Dividing any number by itself gives 1.

Writing 5/⅓ as 5/⅓ × 1 doesn't change the value.

Then I can write 5/⅓ as

5/⅓ × (5×3)/(5×3) = 1

This can become

[5×(5×3)] / [(⅓) × (5×3)]

= 75/(15/3)

= 75/5

= 15

or

12/ 3/5

= [12/ (3/5)] × [(5×3)/(5×3)]

= 12×(5×3) / (3/5)×(5×3)

= (12×5×3) / [(3×5×3)/5]

= 180 / (45/5)

= 180 / 9

= 20

A soccer ball is kicked from the ground at an upwards velocity of 90 feet per second. The equation h(t)=-16t^(2)+90t gives the h
garri49 [273]

Answer: 2.81 s

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

Ball is kicked upward with velocity u=90\ ft/s

Height of the ball is given by the function h(t)=-16t^2+90t

Derivative of a function gives the maxima or minima at certain point

\Rightarrow \dfrac{dh}{dt}=-32t+90\\\\\Rightarrow \dfrac{dh}{dt}=0\\\\\Rightarrow -32t+90=0\\\\\Rightarrow t=\dfrac{90}{32}\\\\\Rightarrow t=2.81\ s

Thus, it takes ball 2.81 s to reach the top.
