Answer:

The perimeter of PQR is 17.

Step-by-step explanation:

The work for this problem is below

(3y-2) = (y+4)

+2         +2

3y = y+6

-y     -y

2y = 6

y = 3

then you insert the value of y into (3y-2) which gives you (9-2) which is equivalent to 7.

all you have to do now is add the values of the sides which will give you the perimeter.

4+6+7=17

Hence, the perimeter is 17.

You're welcome :)

Express each ratio as a unit rate.round to the bearest tenth,if necessary. 2 note books for $0.60
FrozenT [24]

Option B

2 notebooks for $ 0.60 expressed as unit rate is $ 0.30 per notebook

<h3><u>Solution:</u></h3>

We have to express ratio as unit rate

Given that, 2 notebooks for $ 0.60

Number of notebooks = 2

Cost of 2 notebooks = $ 0.60

So we have to find cost of 1 notebook

\begin{array}{l}{\text { cost of } 1 \text { notebook }=\frac{\text { cost of } 2 \text { notebook }}{2}} \\\\ {\text { cost of } 1 \text { notebook }=\frac{0.60}{2}=0.30}\end{array}

So unit rate = cost of 1 notebook = $ 0.30

So 2 notebooks for $ 0.60 as unit rate is $ 0.30 per notebook

Anni [7]

Answer:

431,707

Step-by-step explanation:

To figure out the total number, you need to divide the part of the whole by the percentage it is of the whole.  This means that you need to divide 35,400 by 8.2%.

Before dividing the percentage, you need to convert it to a decimal.

8.2% = 0.082

Divide the number to find the answer.

35,400/0.082 = 431,707.3

Converted to the nearest whole number, the answer is 431,707.

Mina wore a pedometer on her foot for 3 hours. She recorded the number of steps she walked for each hour. The first hour she too
Sergeu [11.5K]

Answer:

Mina took 2,986 steps on the third hour.

Step-by-step explanation:

With the information provided, you know that Mina took a total of 9,245 steps in three hours and as you know the quantity of steps she took on the first and second hour, you can subtract the steps she took on the first and second hour from the total amount of steps to determine the steps she took on the third hour:

9,245-2,387-3,872=2,986

According to this, the answer is that Mina took 2,986 steps on the third hour.
