Answer:

The time for which parking charge taken is 3.5 hours

Step-by-step explanation:

Given as :

The total cost paid by Merry for car parking = $2.20

The charge taken by garage for parking is as ( $0.45 ) +( $0.25 for each half hour)

Let the Time taken as half hour = x

So, According to question

0.45 + 0.25 × x = $2.20

Or, 0.25 × x = $2.20 - $0.45

I.e 0.25 × x = $ 1.75

∴   x = $ (\frac{1.75}{0.25} =  7

So,Total time spend = \frac{7}{2} = 3.5 hours

Hence The time for which parking charge taken is 3.5 hours     Answer

Which of the following can be determined from a box-and-whisker plot?
elixir [45]
<h3>Answer: B) Median</h3>

The middle vertical line inside the box is the median or the value of Q2. The term "median" is used more often instead of Q2, but your book may use this terminology as well.

---------------

side notes:

* The left and right edges of the box are Q1 and Q3 respectively

* The IQR (interquartile range) is found by subtracting Q3 and Q1

* The min and max are the left and right most edges of the the whiskers, this is assuming there are no outliers

* There is no way to get the mean or mode from a box and whisker plot alone.

* The term "average" is too vague and could refer to mean, median, or mode.

Find the slope of the line through the pair of points (17, -12) (11, 5)
BARSIC [14]

Hello!

Step-by-step explanation:

Slope formula: \frac{Y^2^-^Y^1}{X^2-X^1}=\frac{rise}{run}

Y^2,Y^1=(5,-12)

X^2,X^1=(11,17)

\frac{5-(-12)=5+12=17}{11-17=-6}=\frac{17}{-6}

Answer: \frac{17}{-6}

Slope is 17.

Y-intercept is -6.

Hope this helps!
