Answer : Yes , solution of H_2SO_4 contains ions.

Explanation:

The ionization reaction of sulfuric acid is given by the chemical equation, which follows:

H_2SO_4(aq)\rightarrow 2H^+(aq)+SO_4^{2-}(aq)

The sulfuric acid solution contains H^+\&SO_4^{2-} ions.

By stiochoimetery of the reaction;

In 2 mole of sulfuric acid solution there are 1 mole of [trex]H^+[/tex] ions and 1 mole of sulfate ions ( SO_4^{2-}).

It has the molecular formula H2SO4. It is soluble in water at all concentrations to form a sulfuric acid solution. In the solution, a mole of sulfuric acid separates into a mole of negatively charged sulfate ions, or SO4(2-), and 2 moles of positively charged hydronium ions, or H3O+.

During a laboratory experiment, you discover that an enzyme-catalyzed reaction has a ∆g of -100 kcal/mol. if you double the amou
Debora [2.8K]

The doubling the amount will change the gibbs free energy as it is an extensive property which depends upon the the amount of the substance

However as asked in question the DeltaG has unit of kcal /mol

So we have already defined the amount of substance to be one mole this means the value per mole will be same irrespective of the amount taken as we are reporting it for a fixed one mole of a substance

Hence answer is

-100 kcal/mol

If a particular ore contains 55.1 % calcium phosphate, what minimum mass of the ore must be processed to
Diano4ka-milaya [45]

Answer:

6049.69 g or 6.04969 Kg of ore must be processed to get 1 Kg of phosphorous.

Explanation:

Given

An ore has 51% Calcium phosphate

To find

The minimum mass of ore to be processed to get 1.00 Kg of phosphorous

First find the mass of phosphorous in 1 mole = molar mass of Calcium phosphate, Ca₃(PO₄)₃.

Molar mass  of Ca₃(PO₄)₃ is 310 g

Molar mass  of  P is 31 g

1 mole of Ca₃(PO₄)₃ has 3 atoms of phosphorous

i.e 310 g of  Ca₃(PO₄)₃ has 3× 31g of P

= 93 g P

93 g P wil be present in 310 g of Ca₃(PO₄)₃

1 Kg or 1000 g of P will be in   (1000÷93) ×310

=3333.33 g of Ca₃(PO₄)₃

but the ore has only 55.1% Ca₃(PO₄)₃

i.e

100 g of Ca₃(PO₄)₃ will have 55.1g Ca₃(PO₄)₃

we need 3333.33g of Ca₃(PO₄)₃

100 g of ore  will have 55.1g Ca₃(PO₄)₃

3333.33g of Ca₃(PO₄)₃ will be present in

(3333.33÷ 55.1) ×100

= 6049.60 g of the ore

So 6049.69 g or 6.04969 Kg of ore must be processed to get 1 Kg of phosphorous.

True or False;<br> aa is faster moving lava than pahoehoe?
frosja888 [35]

Answer:

It is false :l

Explanation:

Pahoehoe is a smooth and continuous lava crust. Pahoehoe forms when the effusion rate is low and consequently the velocity of lava flow is slow. Pahoehoe lava flow is usually at least 10 times slower than typical aa lava flow.
