ANSWER

B.

- \cos^{2} x

EXPLANATION

The given expression is

(sin x + 1)(sin x − 1)

Note that:

(x + 1)(x - 1) = {x}^{2} - 1

This implies that,

( \sin \: x + 1)( \sin \: x - 1) = \sin^{2} x - 1

We can factor -1 on the right hand side to get,

( \sin \: x + 1)( \sin \: x - 1) = - (1 - \sin^{2} x )

Note that from the Pythagorean Identity

1 - \sin^{2} x = \cos^{2} x

We apply this identity to obtain:

( \sin \: x + 1)( \sin \: x - 1) = - \cos^{2} x

The correct choice is B

a sum of money is to be distributed among A B C D in the proportion of 5:2:4:3 if C gets Rs 1000 more than D what is share of B
Nat2105 [25]

Answer:

Share \: of\: B =Rs.\: 2000

Step-by-step explanation:

Money proportion of A, B, C and D are 5:2:4:3.

So, let the money shares received by A, B, C and D be 5x, 2x, 4x and 3x rupees respectively.

It is given that:

C gets ₹1000 more than D

\implies Share \: of\: C = Share \: D +1000

\implies 4x = 3x +1000

\implies 4x - 3x =1000

\implies x=1000

\implies Share \: of\: B = 2x

\implies Share \: of\: B = 2(1000)

\implies Share \: of\: B =Rs.\: 2000

Can you please help me on #12 pls <br> And also no links
Sindrei [870]

Answer:

12) Well follow the orders of operations

Parentheses

Exponents

Mulitpacation - division (left to right)

Addition - subtraction (left to right)

Well we see an exponents lets do that first

6^2=36

And basically theres these parenthesis on the side for each so really its

(8+36) / (11)

This only occurs if the number is presented like this as diviosn or a fraction.

Now we solve that

8+36= 44

44/11=4

4+7*2

Thats the final equation

Well multiply first

7*2=14

14+4=18

The answer would be 18

Find the nth term of this quadratic sequence 3 8 15 24
olga2289 [7]

Answer:

35

Step-by-step explanation:

A quadratic sequence is a form. of mathematical progression of numbers in which the subsequent differences between each consecutive term differ by the exact amount. This is known as the common second difference.

Hence in this case,

we have

S= 3+8+15+24+…..+Tn - 1.

S=. 3+8+15+……………..Tn-1 + Tn

Deducting 2nd series from the first

We have 0=3+5+7+…….Tn

Hence, we have Tn= n (n+2)

= 24 (9+2)

= 24 + 11

= 35
