Hello!

As for this question, you would set up an equation based on what the question is, it would be the following:

x + 79 = 234

Subtract 79 from both sides to be able to find the correct solution.

234 - 79 = 155

Therefore, the answer would be 155 is the amount she has stamped by far.

Show how to make a ten to solve 3 - 7
Marta_Voda [28]
The 3 is a positive integer and the 7 is a negative integer so you would do "KFC" also known as (Keep, Flip, and Change)

3
("Keep" the 3 positive)
-
("Flip"the minus sign into a plus sign)

-7
("Change" the negative sign into a positive sign)

So therefore, you would have:

3 + 7, which equals 10

If you have $65 to spend at a concert and you already spend $32.25 on a ticket and fee. What is the maximum number of shirts he
Marrrta [24]
The maximum number of shirts I can buy is 2.

14.50 x 2  = 29
14.50 x 3 = 43.5

Two shirts cost 29 dollars, and 3 shirts cost 43.5 dollars. Since $43.5 is higher than the money I currently have, I  can only buy 2 shirts.
