A test of intelligence is given to a subject. The subject scores 110 on the first administration. Six months later, the same sub
Basile [38]

Answer:

True, the scores are not valid.

Step-by-step explanation:

The test supposed to be measuring intelligence. We can assume that the intelligence of most people relatively stable (will not change too much over a short amount of time), and can expect it should go upward with brain growth and education. But the test seems to give a huge decrease from the first and second results. Then the third result is a huge increase that even higher than the first test.

We don't know the true value of the subject, but seeing the huge gap for every repetition we can tell that the test result lacks precision.

Find the length of the arc of the circular helix with vector equation r(t) = 2 cos t i + 2 sin t j + tk from the point (2, 0, 0)
USPshnik [31]

\vec r(t)=2\cos t\,\vec\imath+2\sin t\,\vec\jmath+t\,\vec k

\implies\vec r'(t)=-2\sin t\,\vec\imath+2\cos t\,\vec\jmath+\vec k

\implies\|\vec r'(t)\|=\sqrt{(-2\sin t)^2+(2\cos t)^2+1^2}=\sqrt5

Then the length of the arc is

\displaystyle\int_0^{2\pi}\|\vec r'(t)\|\,\mathrm dt=\sqrt5\int_0^{2\pi}\mathrm dt=2\sqrt5\,\pi

an article when sold at a profit of 5% yields rupees 50 more than when sold at a loss of 5% what was the cost price of the artic
ziro4ka [17]

I'm going to assume that the question should say “at a profit of 5%”.

Restate question in the form of a equation.

Let C = the cost price of the item.

C + 0.705 C = C - 0.05 C + Rs 50

0.05 C = - 0.05 C + Rs 50

0.10 C = Rs 50

C = Rs 500

The cost price of the item is Rs 500

I hope this help you
